MIPT (Moscow Institute o of Physics and Technology)

The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is the leading institute of higher education of the Russian Federation, training highly-qualified specialist in various areas of modern science and technology. The institute has a rich history. Its founders and early staff members were Nobel Prize winners P.L Kapitsa, N.N Semenov, and L.D. Landau. Nobel Prize winners are among its graduates as well. Many Fiztech professors are leading scientists in Russia, among which are more than 80 academics and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences. From the beginning, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology has used a unique system for training specialists, known commonly as the “Fiztech System,” which combines fundamental education, engineering disciplines, and student scientific research. According to the 2013-2014 Times Higher Education World University Ranking MIPT is one of the 100 highest-ranked universities for physical sciences in the world .

"Northern" BioPharmCluster at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is a conglomerate of leading enterprises of pharmaceutical and medical industry, research institutes and medical institutions, small innovative companies on the base of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. The main idea of the BPCN@MIPT is to create a full drug development cycle in MIPT: R&D, production, marketing and launch of new medicines and medical technologies in Russia and globally. In 2012, BPCN@MIPT joined the innovative territorial cluster “Phystech XXI” which is in the list of pilot innovative cluster approved by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation M.D. Medvedev. "Northern" BioPharmCluster at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology performs function of the organization – coordinator of cluster “Phystech XXI”.

FSCC PHOI n.a. Dmitry Rogachev

Federal Scientific and Clinical Centre of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev is a unique research and medical institution. The Centre combines doctors' long-term experience with medical, scientific and technological innovations. FSCC PHOI n.a. Dmitry Rogachev was founded in 1991 as Scientific-Research Institute of Pediatric Hematology. The Centre provides special high-technology medical care for children (from newborns to adolescents) of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation under stationary and ambulance conditions.

The Biogerontology Research Foundation

The Biogerontology Research Foundation is a registered UK charity which has been constituted to support the application of knowledge of the mechanisms of ageing to relieve disability, suffering and disease in old age. The charity aims to fund research to develop interventions which remediate the molecular damage underlying the diseases of ageing, to evaluate the impact of biomedical discoveries on the economy, to encourage collaboration between researchers from many areas of science. Also the charity supports young scientists in the areas of biogerontology.
